Pranayama is an ancient system of yogic breathing that optimises the flow of prana (vital life force) throughout your body. The way you breathe plays a significant role in your health and wellbeing. Shallow breathing from the chest can be a sign your body is in a heightened state of alert. In contrast, more measured and deeper breathing from the abdominal area signals your body to rest and digest. Private Pranayama sessions allow your practitioner to consider any medical conditions, before safely teaching you techniques to control and regulate your breath. Regular Pranayama can help to calm your mind, balance your emotions and reduce stress and anxiety.

Jyoti is a qualified Yoga & Pranayama teacher with more than 12 years of teaching experience in all types of Yogic modalities. She aims to bring a unique sense of empowerment during each of her classes, through use of intentions, basic to advanced asanas, Pranayama, internal body organ cleansing exercises (Shudhi Kriyas), meditation and all the Bandhas (energy locks).

Jyoti feels blessed to have been personally trained in Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and Pranayama by renowned Yoga Guru, O.P. Tiwari from Kaivalyadhama, India. Since an early age, Jyoti has expressed a keen interest in Yogic philosophies. This enthusiasm led her to study Yoga Sutras (original Yogic textbooks) to increase her knowledge and understanding of all types of Yoga, including Traditional Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Therapeutic Yoga and breathing practices.

Jyoti’s teaching style encourages clearer thoughts and greater meaning for Yoga in each individual. She applies her knowledge and skills to address a wide range of physical imbalances ranging from chronic pains, cervical, postural and joint stiffness, arthritis, sleep disorders, fluid retention and more. Jyoti also strives to live a yogic lifestyle and to lead each class in a way that reflects the same.

 

Sujay Seshadri

Kamalaya Life Enhancement Mentor

Sujay Seshadri is an experienced Life Enhancement Mentor whose goal in life is to help people discover greater levels of commitment, success and love; as well as enhanced physical, psychological and emotional wellbeing. During his time as a monk, Sujay developed deep insights into the intricacies of the human mind; he also gained experience of different spiritual states of consciousness, as well as the teaching of esoteric spiritual principles, practices and healing processes. For more than 22 years, Sujay has helped bring greater awareness and enrichment to the lives of numerous people from all walks of life and from all around the world. He believes that life is a constant process of learning and feels blessed and motivated to share his learning and experiences with everyone.
Vanessa Fairall

Life Enhancement Mentor

Vanessa is a Mindfulness Meditation, Pranayama and Yoga teacher and holds a Masters degree in Mindfulness-Based Psychotherapy. She has over seventeen years’ experience helping others to understand or accept their thoughts, feelings and emotions as they navigate through the journey of life. Vanessa also incorporates thirty years of personal practice, and the wisdom gained therein, into all her Personal Mentoring sessions. Vanessa believes an inherent wholeness exists within all of us, and the potential for it to develop can be nurtured through kind and skilful inquiry. During her consultations, Vanessa facilitates a safe, empowering space for curious and non-judgemental self-exploration. This process ultimately cultivates a growing awareness by drawing your attention within. Through the creative application of practical tools and techniques, Vanessa guides you to release old habitual patterns, and embrace new ones that allow you to see, and be in your world in a different way.

After your session ends, you can leave the meeting by pressing the ‘Leave Meeting’ button. If you have no other Zoom meetings planned for the rest of your day, you may choose to quit the Zoom application.
